Drawing for kids
A free drawing canvas for children: chunky crayons on bright yellow paper, big buttons and an undo that fixes every mistake. No account, no download.
Drawing for kids
Made for small hands
This canvas opens with a big 30px crayon on bright yellow paper, because young children draw with their whole arm and love bold colour. There are no menus to get lost in: pick a colour, draw, and press Undo if something goes wrong. Nothing a child draws is uploaded anywhere — it stays on your device.
Activities by age
- Ages 3–5: scribble with every colour, then name what it looks like. Draw big circles, lines and dots. Switch the paper colour and see how the crayons change.
- Ages 5–7: follow an easy tutorial like the heart, star or house. Draw your family as stick figures, then give everyone clothes.
- Ages 7–10: try the cat, butterfly and unicorn tutorials, then invent a creature by mixing two animals together.
- Any age: ask the drawing idea generator for something silly — “a dragon eating spaghetti” — and draw it together.
Tips for parents and teachers
- Ask about it, don’t correct it“Tell me about your drawing” keeps a child drawing far longer than “that doesn’t look like a dog”.
- Use Draw alongEvery tutorial has a Draw along button that puts the steps faintly on the canvas, so children can trace their way to a finished picture — a great confidence boost.
- Save the good onesSave PNG keeps a copy you can print or send to grandparents.
- Short sessionsTen minutes of happy drawing beats an hour of frustration.
